Restoring the Foundations
Tom and Pam Devitt have based their ministry on the principles of Restoring the Foundations, a ministry set forth in the book "Restoring the Foundations, a biblical approach to healing ministry". Restoring the Foundations is focused on the four problem areas that all of us have. It specifically recognized the severe degree of interdependence that each problem area has with the other three. This is why it is called the "integrated" approach to biblical healing ministry. God has provided all that we need to bring ministry to the four problem areas, so that we may be healed and set free of them.
The four areas of ministry are Sins of the Fathers and the Resulting Curses (SOFC), Ungodly Beliefs, Soul Spirit Hurts and Demonic Oppression. Restoring the Foundations is one of the ways that God brings Sanctification into the lives of His children. It is a foundational ministry, bringing healing and freedom to the four problem areas that each of us struggles with, through the integrated approach to Biblical Healing Ministry.
The Holy Spirit has shown us that if we minister to the four foundational problem areas in the same time period, with an understanding of their interdependence, intertwined nature, that we will facilitate much deeper and a much more permanent healing and freedom coming to the ministry receiver. This is because much, if not all, of the legal ground that the enemy has used for oppression is recovered (redeemed). Ministering to all four interrelated problem areas is the Integrated Approach to Biblical Healing Ministry.
